Building a digital collection is like making dinner. You’ve got to have a main course (eBooks), along with a couple side dishes (audiobooks and video). No meal—or collection—would be complete without all three. That’s why this month, the eHighlights team has served up three editions that equal a well-balanced meal for growing library collections: July Adult Edition, Audiobooks, and Streaming Video.

{FA02706F-7AE9-4DD9-8463-E7BA478C1E5F}Img400July’s Adult edition is a hearty one, packed full of nutritious offerings like Donald Ray Pollock’s The Heavenly Table or the latest in James Patterson’s new BookShots series, Little Black Dress. Designed to be quick reads, the new series is full of short, unputdownable digital titles for busy people. For politically-engaged readers, Bush by Jean Edward Smith, James Carville’s We’re Still Right, They’re Still Wrong, and Mark Singer’s Trump and Me are sure to see demand.

If it’s audiobooks your patrons are craving, check out the new edition focused just on audiobooks, the format that makes a perfect substitute—or complement—to their eBook counterparts. We’ve included something for every listening taste from heavy selections like Who Rules the World? by Noam Chomsky, to lighter fare like I Almost Forgot About You by Terry McMillan. Personally, I’m looking forward to getting my ears on funny girl Amy Schumer’s The Girl with the Lower Back Tattoo. There’s nothing better than your favorite comedian’s personal essays, but having her read them to you is pure comical bliss.

Last but not least, sink your teeth (or eyes!) into the Streaming Video eHighlights featuring delicious morsels like the children’s language-learning series Little Pim or the documentary film The Art of McCartney: The Songs of Paul McCartney Sung by the World’s Greatest Artists including interviews with Billy Joel, Smokey Robinson, and other big names in the business.

Bon appetit!
