Yesterday in Estero, Florida, the Digital Bookmobile hit another milestone. We held our 200th event with Lee County Library System at the South County Regional Library. After traveling more than 25,000 miles and stopping in 37 states and Canadian provinces, the Digital Bookmobile has trained nearly 35,000 visitors on downloading audiobooks, eBooks, and more from public libraries. And we’re not stopping any time soon.

We have already confirmed stops in New Orleans, Houston, San Antonio, Las Vegas, Phoenix, and Los Angeles for early 2010. We’ll also hit dozens of other libraries throughout next year as we continue to traverse North American raising awareness about library downloads.

If you’re interested in planning a Digital Bookmobile event in 2010, you can contact us at You can also keep up to date on all the national tour stops on Twitter, Facebook, and Flickr.

Thank you everyone for a great 2009! We’re looking forward to helping more patrons learn how to download from public libraries in 2010.
