Alabama Library Association

This past week, I had the pleasure of representing OverDrive at the Alabama Library Association’s 2010 State Show in Huntsville, AL.  I got the chance to meet with many of our Alabama library partners including Camellia Net, Digital Media Zone, and Jefferson County Library Cooperative, and inform them about OverDrive’s 2010 initiatives.  The Alabama Library Association put on a great show, including hosting New York Times bestselling author Lisa Scottoline, whose new book Think Twice is now available!

Of course I could not leave Alabama without sampling some southern fare including pimento cheese sandwiches, and fried green tomatoes.  And thanks to the Huntsville Friends of the Library, I even got to pose with Tom Sawyer, the mascot to represent Huntsville-Madison County Public Library’s Big Read, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer.

A big thank you to the Alabama Library Association for hosting this event and to all of the great Alabama library staff who stopped by.
