When I love a movie, I really love a movie, and I will watch it over and over (and over) again. It had gotten to the point where picking new movies to watch seemed like a huge and daunting task. It’s not that I was afraid of commitment: I was just afraid of committing to new movies. As a former DVD librarian, I knew there were all kinds of new titles coming out every week but I still found myself watching the same things in rotation. So what did I do to inject my video viewing with some new blood? You guessed it: Streaming Video from my local library.

Videos are available instantly in your browser or through the OverDrive app and you never have to worry about getting a damaged DVD or overdue fines. And the best part is that they’re free and can be returned with the click of a button (or touch of a screen). You can check out as many titles as your library will allow, then return them and get more.
