“The secret of getting ahead is getting started.” – Mark Twain

Sometimes getting started can seem like your biggest obstacle, but we’ve got good news for you. The OverDrive Training Team hosts a series of free webcasts the second week of every month to make it easy to take that first step toward learning the ins and outs of your digital library service.

Join us this August to get the tools you need to ensure your digital collection’s success, including how to purchase titles to build your digital collection, get users started with their devices, and promote your digital library with free marketing tools.

We kick off our webcast series on the second Tuesday of each month with Shopping for Titles in Marketplace. In this session, you’ll learn how to purchase titles for your digital collection in OverDrive Marketplace using search tools and our staff librarians’ recommended lists. If you’re new to selecting content for your digital library, this is the place for you to start.

Tune in the second Wednesday of the month to learn more about The End User Experience, where we’ll demonstrate how to help your users get started on popular devices. Your users have different devices and different preferences, so it’s important you know how to introduce them to the best experience to meet their needs whether that’s Libby, the digital library website, the OverDrive app, or Amazon Kindle delivery.

For our third session in August, we’ve revitalized our past special webcast, Tools to Promote Your OverDrive Digital Library. We’ll be partnering with one of our Marketing Specialists to share free marketing resources, ideas, and success stories. By the end of this August’s webcast series, you’ll have what it takes to make your digital collection one of the most successful around.

Register today on the Resource Center! Our next webcast series runs August 8-10th with each session starting at 11 am Eastern Time. If you’re unable to attend, consider one of our additional training options. Visit the Past Webcasts tab of the Resource Center to catch up on topics you’ve missed, access on-demand recordings when you’re short on time, and contact your Account Specialist directly to request a custom training for you and your library staff.

We hope to see you there!
