Attention all OverDrive Library Partners! Enter our 2nd ‘Outreach Program’ Contest to win great prizes for your library. Winners will be judged based on creativity and effectiveness of the campaign(s).
Who can participate?
The ‘Outreach Program’ Contest is open to all OverDrive library partners, including main and branch locations, and libraries participating in an OverDrive shared collection.
How are the winners selected?
Prizes will be awarded to the libraries with the most effective and creative campaigns in the below categories, including one overall winner who submits an entry to each category:
Online: Library’s website, OverDrive hosted website, social networking sites such as Facebook or Twitter, and any otehr online-based promotion.
Inside the Library: A banner display, patron training event, staff invovlement, etc.
Outside the Library: An ad in your local newspaper, a sign at the subway station, a partnership with a local school or coffee shot, etc.
What can you win?
Grand Prize: $2,000 USD collection credit, 10 MP3 Players
Online Winner: $1,000 USD collection credit
Inside the Library Winner: $1,000 USD collection credit
Outside the Library Winner: $1,000 USD collection credit
Three honorable mentions (one in each category): $500 USD collection credit
Winners will be contacted directly and announced by July 30, 2010.
How can my library enter?
To enter the ‘Outreach Program’ Contest, fill out an Entry Form and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org or fax it to 216.573.6888 by Wednesday, June 30. Please include any related pictures, documents, presentations, or links to show how you are promoting your digital collection.
*Entries from the 2009 contest will not be considered.
