Our “Going Mobile” video series features step-by-step instructions on how to download library eBooks and audiobooks to iPhones and other mobile devices.

Last September, fellow OverDrive blogger Cassie Renner introduced our “Going Mobile” video series. Since then, we’ve been busy producing additional videos to meet the overwhelmingly positive response to the initial releases.

The collection of Going Mobile videos has expanded to include assistance for multiple systems.  From Windows to iOS to Android, we have your mobile platform covered.  A quick trip to the Going Mobile page—which you can access via the Help pages of your library’s “virtual branch” website—will let you get the assistance you and your users need to get started with OverDrive and your device.

These videos cover the basic setup of the OverDrive Media Console app for your mobile device and guide you through the process of downloading eBooks and audiobooks.  Don’t have a device that uses the Overdrive Media Console app?  No problem.  We also offer assistance for using your Kindle, Nook, Sony Reader, Kobo, and even Adobe Digital Editions.

So, if you or your users have a mobile device and are not sure how to get started, check out the Going Mobile videos and begin enjoying OverDrive digital titles today. These videos are also great tools that can be used by your library staff to assist when doing training sessions.

As always, feel free to share your comments and feedback!
